Bridge 17. Helping 13-17 year olds who have witnessed domestic abuse.

Developed by Honour Thy Woman Group and facilitated by Chrysanthemum Counselling, this initiative offers a safe, inclusive, and creative space for healing, growth, and self-expression.

Bridge17 is a new, trauma-informed programme for teenagers.

We understand that as a mother, your child’s emotional wellbeing is your deepest concern. Bridge17 is here to walk alongside you and your teen providing compassionate, culturally sensitive support that honours their voice and lived experience.

Safeguarding and Professionalism

Your child’s safety is our highest priority. All staff are DBS-checked and trained in child protection, with clear reporting procedures and ongoing supervision. We work closely with schools, local authorities, and community organisations to ensure joined-up support.

Who is it for?

Bridge17 is open to young people aged 13–17 who have witnessed domestic abuse in any form. We welcome all backgrounds, identities, and family structures.

If your teen is struggling with anxiety, low confidence, or emotional overwhelm due to past experiences, Bridge17 may be a gentle and creative pathway forward.
